From the first prototype to small-scale production
Not every plastic component places the same demands on mould design, materials and production volumes. That is why Solidtec offers a range of injection moulding processes that are precisely tailored to your project phase and your component. From prototype injection moulding for initial functional samples, through cost-effective small-batch production, to specialised processes for complex components, we provide you with the right solution from a single source.
Our advantage: Instead of expensive steel tools, we use aluminium tools produced using the rapid tooling process.
This means you benefit from significantly shorter lead times, lower tooling costs and high-quality series production.
The right process for your project
In the early stages of development, individual functional prototypes or small test runs are often required. Later on, the focus shifts more towards cost-effectiveness, precision and process reliability.
With aluminiumrapid-tooling moulds, Solidtec bridges the gap between 3D printing and traditional high-volume production. This enables high-quality injection-moulded parts to be produced significantly faster and more cost-effectively than with conventional steel moulds.
For specialised requirements, we supplement our portfolio with specialised processes such as multi-component injection moulding, insert moulding, liquid silicone rubber (LSR) injection moulding and micro-injection moulding.
