Maximum application rates
Whether prototypes or small batches of up to 100,000 units and beyond: as a general rule, we process all types of thermoplastics except PVC. However, with specialised materials such as PPS or PEEK, the service life of our mould inserts is reduced.
The following figures serve as a guide to the maximum output from single-cavity moulds:
- Unfilled PP: 70,000 units
- Unfilled ABS / POM / PA / PC: 50,000 units
- PA6 with 30 per cent glass bead filling: 40,000 pieces
- PA with 30% glass fibre reinforcement: 40,000 pieces
- PA with 10% glass fibre reinforcement: 30,000 pieces
- PPS: 2,000 pieces
- PEEK: 1,000 pieces
