Philipp Schimpf is the new drift champion
1st place for our colleagueIt’s not something you see every day: the Solidtec team has a real champion in its ranks! At the 2021 German Drift.de Drift Series, our colleague Philipp Schimpf secured first place.
With the score tied at 60 points each after three heats, the Street class – which features standard or near-standard production cars – saw a thrilling final between Philipp Schimpf (Welded Crew) and his rival Daniel Dünow (Sauerland DriftTeam).
In the fourth round of the Drift.de Drift Series, Philipp finally came out on top in his BMW and finished right at the top of the podium.
