The initial situation

At one of our customer's suppliers Sartoriusa leading medical technology company, suffered a serious fire in production. Several injection molding tools were completely destroyed. As a result, the ability to supply three medical products was acutely jeopardized - stocks only lasted a few weeks.
Our task: 18 new production tools had to be created within a very short space of time in order to ensure supply - including full validation and documentation in accordance with the high requirements of medical technology.
An additional challenge: the fire occurred in the middle of the vacation period - with an already high workload.
