Many of our customers know Solidtec as a reliable partner for the creation of their prototype tools for all kinds of development components - quasi as a preliminary stage to large-scale production. But the spectrum of rapid tooling now goes much further.
Time and again, we receive inquiries from customers who need high-quality plastic articles for the market launch or development of a product. This is where 3D printing reaches its limits, while large-scale injection moulding is usually only worthwhile from several 100,000 components.
It is precisely this niche that we fill with the production of plastic parts in small batches. In a showcase at the AM Expo in Lucerne, Switzerland, we will be demonstrating the wide range of possibilities in modern small-series injection moulding using the example of our collaboration with the company Tracktics GmbH.
